Bring Your Own Photos Night

Photo format - Please submit between 7 and 10 jpeg images that you would like to share that evening. Best to keep the resolution at 1920 pixels on the long edge. The photos will be displayed in alphanumeric order, so choose file names accordingly. For example, 001Sree.jpg, 002Sree.jpg etc...I have had some people complain that the photos are not in order of what they would have liked, but I really cannot tell from the emails that there was a sequence if they are not labeled this way. So, please save me some time and label your images in alphanumeric order. 

Logistics - The most efficient way to run the meeting is to have the Zoom host (me) gather up all of your photos ahead of time. I will be responsible for displaying the photos for each of you during the meeting.  We’ll provide a title page with your name as an introduction to you and your photos.  Be sure to include your full name so that I can prepare your title page. When it is your turn, you will unmute your zoom application and provide narration for your photos; after which you will mute yourself. I will advance to the next photo as instructed by the photographer.  You’ll have only about 3-5 minutes to show your photos, as we expect many people to be participating. Anyone and everyone is invited to share their photos -- as long the subjects are birds  -- so feel free to invite your friends to participate. All photos will be deleted from my computer immediately following the meeting. 

Deadline - Submit them no later than Saturday May 2nd 2026, giving me a few days to prepare the photos and title pages. The first to submit photos are the first to present that evening, so you can send them in now if you like. (Due to bandwidth limitations, please do not submit videos). Email your photos to: BayAreaBirdPhotographers [at] gmail.com
