100 Images for 100 Years
Great Egret by Hita Bambhania-Modha
In honor of its 100th Anniversary, the Santa Clara Valley Bird Alliance compiled a special collection of 100 Images for 100 Years. A wide range of photographers and artists were invited to participate from long-time SCVBA members to young birders, from nationally recognized award winners to enthusiastic hobbyists. Photos were all taken in Santa Clara County, and artwork depicted birds that have been seen in the county. In all 61 photographers and artists are represented with locations from Morgan Hill to Palo Alto, Loma Prieta Summit to Sierra OSP.
I hope you find that this collection of bird images truly reflects the beauty and diversity of birds in Santa Clara County.
If viewing the collection leaves you wanting more, refer to Centennial Photographer and Artist page for ways to see more from your favorite photographers and artists.
