American Avocet by Amanda Newlove
Photowalk: Palo Alto Baylands (Palo Alto)
Bring your cameras and let's have fun practicing some bird photography together. The longer the lens the better, but any photographers and cameras are welcome from beginner to expert! Birdwatching in the Palo Alto Baylands is excellent year-round but especially nice August through April when a large number of shorebirds and ducks are present. Plus, this is the best location in Santa Clara County to spot the Ridgway’s Rail.
