Calling all community members! Come birding with POST and Santa Clara Valley Bird Alliance and meet other birders! Whether you are experienced or completely new to birding, this event will provide a fun opportunity to get out in nature and gain a bird’s-eye view of species found locally.
Join us for a beginner-friendly birding outing, open to all, led by experienced facilitators. Come build community, connect with nature, and learn to spot local birds together. Binoculars are available to borrow if needed.

Route Difficulty: This event will include an easy trail of 1-2 miles with minimal elevation gain, mostly on dirt trails, with frequent stops, long periods of standing, and limited seating. There is limited shade so plan for sun!! We welcome participants of all abilities and are happy to discuss accommodations with you. Meeting Location: We will meet at Bair Island Public Parking (654 Sea Anchor Dr, Redwood City, CA 94063). The maps pin will be sent to your email following registration.

Parking Type and Fees: paved parking lot, street parking, no fees
Additional Information: Pets are not allowed on this hike. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times. Thank you for your understanding.
