Drop-in: Almaden Lake (San Jose)

SCVBA volunteers will be stationed at Almaden Lake Park to help you identify and enjoy the egrets and herons on the island rookery, as well as ducks, songbirds, woodpeckers and raptors. This event is appropriate for all ages and abilities. Drop in anytime during the event, stay for as long or as little as you would like, no reservations required.
Trip Difficulty: this is a stationary event, there will be some shade.
Notes: Bring binoculars if you have them; we will also haver loaner binoculars available. Parents, there are playgrounds at the park, as well as picnic tables.
