Beginner Birding at TJ Martin Park (San Jose)
Start your new year with a new birding habit or hobby. We’ll wander an urban park to scan the lawns for winter and resident sparrows with an eye toward the skies for any raptors flying overhead.
Trip Difficulty: 2 miles, paved trails, gravel trails, lawns (potentially wet), little or no elevation gain, some shade
Other Trip Notes: Street parking only. This trip may cross lawns that are wet or uneven. Bring layers for various weather conditions. Rain cancels.
