Beginners at Sunnyvale Baylands

Sunnyvale Baylands is the perfect spot to get acquainted with wintering birds, from backyard favorites like Dark-eyed Junco and American Robin to rarer specialties like Merlin and Wilson's Snipe. This beginner-focused trip will take a loop around the park, including spending some time at the seasonal wetlands as well as the beautiful eucalyptus trees throughout the park.

Trip Difficulty: 1-2 miles. Some paved trails, some packed dirt trails. Minimal elevation gain.
