Field Trip: Evening at Sunnyvale Water Pollution Control Plant
Join us in the evening for a flat, 2.5-mile walk beside some of the ponds and waterways that make up Sunnyvale's Water Pollution Control Plant. We may see Phalaropes, Terns, Pelicans, Gallinules, Swallows, and more.
Trip Difficulty:2.5 miles, packed-dirt trails, little or no elevation gain, little to no shade

Directions: From CA-237 in Sunnyvale, exit Lawrence Expy/Caribbean Dr. Continue onto Caribbean Dr. In a little over one mile, you’ll pass Borregas Ave. After you’ve passed Borregas Ave, park anywhere along W Caribbean Dr. Latitude/Longitude: 37.417656,-122.019014
Facilities: ADA compliant porta-potty near start (usually unpleasant); drinking water
