Guadalupe Oak Grove Park (San Jose)
Spring activity will have started in this residential Almaden Valley park where wide flat trails meander through groves of oaks. We will look for Yellow-rumped Warblers in breeding plumage, paired-up and nesting Western Bluebirds, and other oak woodland birds such as Acorn Woodpeckers, Chestnut-backed Chickadees, and Oak Titmice.
Trip Difficulty: 1.5 miles, paved trails, gravel trails, packed-dirt trails, some shade

Meet: At the bathroom near the Thorntree Ave parking lot.
Directions: From CA-85 in San Jose, exit Almaden Expy. Continue south for 1.2 miles then turn right onto McAbee Rd. Travel 0.3 miles on McAbee then turn right onto Thorntree Dr. Parking lot is on your left in 0.3 miles. Latitude/Longitude: 37.236394, -121.878188

Parking Type and Fees: There are only 9 parking spaces (paved, free) inside the park, but there is free street parking on Thorntree
