Field Trip: Late Summer at Spring Valley (Milpitas)

Let’s walk at Spring Valley located in Ed Levin County Park looking for lingering summer visitors and early fall migrants together! We will explore different “hot spots”, on the trails, lawn and pond and to see if we can find Wild Turkeys, White-tailed Kites, American Kestrels, hawks, woodpeckers, egrets, Great Blue Heron, Double-crested Cormorant, Pied-billed Grebe and others. We may even get to see and hear some Warbling and Hutton's Vireos, Western Tanagers and different visiting warblers. We will always keep our eyes and ears out for surprise visitors as well. We are hoping for counts between 40-50!
