Field Trip: Migrants & Locals at Vasona Lake (Los Gatos)

Join us for a leisurely bird walk looking for migrant and local birds at Vasona Lake County Park in Los Gatos. As fall begins, we’ll explore the lake, riparian woodlands, eucalyptus groves, and expansive park lawns. Year-round residents include woodpeckers, herons, egrets, grebes, sparrows, and finches. We’ll keep an eye out for lingering breeding birds, migrating warblers, and returning winter residents.
