Morning Walk at Sunnyvale WPCP
Join us for a flat, 2.5-mile out-and-back walk along the ponds and waterways that make up Sunnyvale's Water Pollution Control Plant. Beginning early to avoid the heat on shadeless trails, we’ll explore the East and West ponds and end scanning the landfill. We may see Phalaropes, Terns, Pelicans, Gallinules, Swallows, and more.
Trip Difficulty: 2.5 miles, gravel trails, packed-dirt trails, rocky trails, little or no elevation gain, little to no shade
Other Trip Notes: The trails out into the Bay have no shade. Bring sun protection and plenty of water.

Directions: From CA-237 in Sunnyvale, exit Lawrence Expy/Caribbean Dr. Continue onto Caribbean Dr. In a little over one mile, you’ll pass Borregas Ave. After you’ve passed Borregas Ave, park anywhere along W Caribbean Dr. Latitude/Longitude: 37.417656,-122.019014
