Join us for a pleasant walk down the Zinfandel Trail to the ephemeral pond (likely dry this time of year) and surrounding forest and hillsides to see and hear birds and enjoy nature. Expect woodpeckers, flycatchers, warblers, towhees and other forest and chaparral birds. We’ll try for California Thrasher, Wrentit, Pacific-slope Flycatcher, Hutton’s Vireo, Spotted Towhee, Orange-crowned Warbler, Yellow Warbler, Townsend’s Warbler, Black-throated Gray Warbler and others. 2 miles, dirt trails, some hills.
