This Cupertino park is in the foothills of the Santa Cruz Mountains. It includes a riparian corridor along Stevens Creek and mixed hardwood and oak woodlands, open grasslands, and chaparral. The wide variety of habitats in this park make it a top birding destination for migrants and local breeding birds.

Directions: From I-280 in Cupertino take Foothill Expy exit. Continue south on Foothill Blvd for about 2 miles (it becomes Stevens Canyon Rd). Turn left into first park entrance and meet in the Chestnut Picnic Area parking lot (first parking lot on your left).
