Enjoy the shorebirds, ducks, and gulls on this monthly bird walk geared towards beginners but also rewarding for the more advanced birder. We’ll stroll around the duck pond and tidal marsh where we may find Whimbrel, Cinnamon Teal, and Semipalmated Plover. Then we will continue on to the boardwalk over the pickleweed in search of resident marsh birds such as Marsh Wren, Common Yellowthroat, and the endangered Ridgway’s Rail. Route is dependent on the leader and the season.
