Parents, join your children for a fun hike through the forest, up a hill to an old orchard and down to Picchetti’s ephemeral pond. We’ll identify plants and trees along the way and talk about different habitats and what birds can be found there. We’ll check for woodpeckers around the pond, sparrows in the grass, warblers in the trees and perhaps even Wild Turkeys.
