SCVAS Photo Walk

Photowalks are an opportunity for photographers to discuss tips and techniques in the field while engaging with live subjects. We'll move much more slowly than a typical birding field trip, emphasizing subjects with good lighting and backgrounds over maximum species count. In this Photo Walk we'll visit Don Edwards Environmental Education Center in Alviso, which features New Chicago Marsh, a salt pond with man-made islands, and a native garden. We'll look for shorebirds on the entrance road first, then check out the New Chicago Marsh boardwalk and the native garden paths.
