Sierra Vista OSP (San Jose)

We'll be taking the Sierra Vista Trail for views of raptors from below and above. Golden Eagle is very likely, Prairie Falcon and Ferruginous Hawk possible, among others.

Trip Difficulty: 2-3 miles, packed-dirt trails, hilly (elevation gain over 300 ft)

Meet: OSP parking lot on Sierra Road

Directions: From I-680 in San Jose, exit Berryessa Rd. Travel east towards the hills for a little over a mile. Turn left onto Piedmont Rd, then turn right onto Sierra Rd.
