Summer Birding at Lake Almaden (San Jose)

Join us for a summer birding adventure at Almaden Lake Park and Los Alamitos Creek Trail, a scenic urban oasis nestled in San Jose’s Almaden Valley. We'll explore the fields and lake in the park, then follow the tree-lined Los Alamitos Creek Trail upstream through rich riparian habitat teeming with songbirds, woodpeckers, and raptors. This easy, accessible walk offers a variety of habitats and is perfect for birders of all levels.
