Explore weedy-edged, tule-lined brackish canals and a salt pond for egrets, herons, grebes, ducks, and terns. Call ahead for loaner binoculars. 1 mile, flat trail.

Directions: From Caribbean Dr, take Borregas Ave north. Drive a short distance before turning left onto Carl Rd. Park in the Bay Trail parking area on Carl Rd. 

Facilities: porta potty, no drinking water
