Ulistac Natural Area Fall Migrants

Join us for a leisurely bird walk to look for migrant songbirds, woodpeckers, and raptors. This urban open space with oak and riparian woodlands and seasonal wetlands contains the last 40 acres of natural, undeveloped land along the Guadalupe River in the city of Santa Clara. Park volunteers are continuing to remove invasive species and add California native plants making this place a rich urban sanctuary great for year-round birding.

Trip Difficulty: 3 miles, flat trails with no elevation gain

Meet: South entrance off Lick Mill Blvd

Directions: From CA-237 exit Great America Pkwy south, drive 0.8 miles, then turn left on Tasman Dr. In 1 mile turn right on Lick Mill Blvd and travel about 0.5 miles to the park which will be on your left. Street parking. Latitude/Longitude: 37.403418, -121.953984
