House Wren: Sarah Chan
Looking for something to fill your days on summer break? Middle and high school students are welcomed to join us for Tuesday mornings devoted to improving the habitat at McClellan Ranch! Students will aid in monitoring and repairing our nest boxes as the breeding season winds down, assisting with invasive species removal, and help document the biodiversity of this nature preserve.
Students will learn about California ecosystems, build observational skills, participate in citizen science projects like the California Breeding Bird Atlas, and meet other nature-loving students.
