Mandarin Bilingual Field Trip: Winter Duck Party at Los Gatos Creek & Oka Ponds (Campbell)

The highlights of this Los Gatos park are the large percolation ponds (Oka Ponds) that provide year-round waterfowl habitat. You’ll spend the morning walking around the ponds looking and listening for songbirds, wading birds, and wintering ducks. 

The highlight of this urban Los Gatos park is the series of the large percolation ponds that provide waterfowl habitat. We’ll check as many of these ponds as time allows looking for wintering ducks, wading birds and songbirds.

Meet: Park entrance at the end of Oka Ln

Directions: From CA-17 in Los Gatos, exit Lark Ave. Travel west then take the first right turn after the freeway onto Oka Rd. At the end of Oka Rd turn left onto W Mozart Ave then take the first right turn onto Oka Ln. Facilities: no toilets, cell phone service, nearest bathroom is available at the main park entrance.
