Queers of a Feather: Pescadero Marsh

  • Pescadero Marsh Trail 35 Pescadero Creek Road Pescadero, CA, 94060 United States (map)

Calling all LGBTQ+ community members and allies! Come birding with POST, Parks Conservancy, Santa Clara Valley Bird Alliance, Golden Gate Bird Alliance, and meet other queers of a feather! Whether you are experienced or completely new to birding, this event will provide a fun opportunity to get out in nature, gain a bird’s eye view of species found locally, and find your flock.

Thanks to our knowledgeable facilitators, this event will be the opposite of a wild goose chase. They’ll guide us on a leisurely stroll with many stops to get a gander at local birds. And if you get peckish along the way, never fear! We’ll provide snacks! (Please don’t feed the birds)

Trail information: This 1.9-mile out-and-back trail is generally considered an easy route with 32 feet of total elevation gain. The trail surface is natural (dirt, grass, rocks) and typically at least 4 feet wide. The whole trail is estimated to be in the gentle (3% or less) grade category.

Please note that this event sells out quickly. If you register and can no longer attend, please be sure to cancel your reservation or reach out to us.
