Charleston Slough

This easy walk covers Charleston Slough, Coast-Casey Forebay, Salt Pond A1 and Shoreline Lake. We will look for sandpipers, ducks, wading birds, terns, and a variety of other species. Advanced birders, beginning birders and everyone in between are all welcome to attend!

Trip Difficulty: 2 miles, flat trails, mostly paved

Meet: trailhead near corner of Terminal Blvd and San Antonio Rd, Mountain View

Directions: From US-101 in Mountain View, exit San Antonio Rd. Continue north to the end of San Antonio Rd then turn right onto Terminal Blvd. Park along Terminal Blvd. Latitude/Longitude: 37.433767, -122.099796

Facilities: Restroom and drinking water at trailhead
