Celebrating Youth, Nature, and International Friendship

Join us for the Award Ceremony and Youth Ecological Roundtable Dialogue of the Second Sino–U.S. Youth Bird-Friendly City Innovation Contest—an inspiring international event that brings together students, educators, local government officials, nonprofit leaders, conservation professionals, volunteers, and community members from China and the United States.

The event will feature creative student entries, including paintings, videos, installations, and other innovative works. Bay Area students and contest participants from Chongqing, China will join a youth roundtable dialogue.

Celebrate the achievements of young innovators, exchange ideas with students from China and the United States, and engage in inspiring conversations with distinguished guest speakers.

Enjoy an inspiring exhibition featuring bird-themed artwork, photography, and creative projects contributed by students and local artists.

Meet: Visionary Arts Gallery & Studio, 1072 S De Anza Blvd San Jose, CA

Directions: From 85 - take De Anza exit and follow De Anza Blvd 0.4 miles (past the McDonalds!) and turn right into the shopping center featuring Happy Donuts. Visionary Arts is in the strip mall.

From 280 - take De Anza exit and follow De Anza Blvd south for 1.9 miles. Turn left into the shopping center featuring Happy Donuts. Visionary Arts is in the strip mall.

Important Information for Student Participants

Due to the venue's limited capacity, attendance is restricted to 80 registered guests.

Student registration is for student participants only and does not include admission for parents or family members.

Parents and guardians are kindly requested to:

  • Drop off students at 3:00 PM for check-in.

  • Pick up students promptly at 8:00 PM at the conclusion of the event.

Our volunteers and event staff will supervise and support students throughout the exhibition, Youth Ecological Roundtable Dialogue, Award Ceremony, and reception.

A complimentary hotel-style buffet dinner will be provided for all registered student participants from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

5:00 PM - 6:00 PM Guest Speaker and Award Ceremony

6:00 PM - 7:00 PM Buffet Reception

7:00 PM - 8:00 PM Networking Reception and Art Exhibition
