Join the Young Birders Club for a leisurely bird walk through this highly-developed urban park in Los Gatos! We’ll explore the riparian woodlands, small lake, oak and eucalyptus groves, and large manicured lawns, all home to a variety of diverse bird species. Along with year-round residents such as green and great blue herons, chestnut-backed chickadees, and western bluebirds, we’ll keep a special lookout for migrant warblers, lingering summer orioles, and more.
This trip is designed for young birders, though parents and siblings are welcome to attend! We welcome birders of all skill levels. Loaner binoculars are available for participants.
