San Jose Project a Threat to Wildlife
The Arena Green is situated in the middle of Downtown San Jose, at the confluence of the Guadalupe River and the Los Gatos Creek. Now, in the midst of this island of riparian habitat surrounded by urban development, the City of San Jose is planning an art installation that will illuminate the entire city, and put to bed any hopes of dark skies in Silicon Valley.

Bringing Back the Natives Garden Tour
Best-selling author Doug Tallamy kicks off the seventeenth annual Bringing Back the Natives Garden Tour this weekend. The tour is virtual again this year, which means it’ll be easy to view the many beautiful gardens full of California native plants and to attend the events. Sundays, April 25 and May 2, 16, and 23.
