Enjoy the fall weather and the great outdoors with our family friendly guided walks at accessible locations. Loaner binoculars are available for participants. Registration is required.

Activities

SCVAS Coloring Book

Learn about our local birds, spend a relaxing afternoon learning some field marks, or just flex your creativity with the kids! Our downloadable coloring book is free and features thirteen species you can find across the county, from the very small to the very large.

Build a Bird Feeder

Pinecone feeder kits are available at the SCVAS Nature Shop! Stop on by and pick one up, and check out the birds on our feeders while you’re at it!

Build a Nest Box

Build a nest box for your local birds to use! Nest Box kits are available at the SCVAS Nature Shop!

Make an Owl Mask

Download your own owl mask and decorate it any way you please!

Make a pair of binoculars

A pair of cardboard tubes, art supplies of your choice, and some string, and you’re ready to bird!
