Welcome to Birdathon Stories, a place where we’ll be sharing outdoor adventures with you and where we will post stories and photos that you submit to us. This is a way we can all be part of this year’s Birdathon, even those who can’t go out and be on a team.
Of course, you can also share your stories on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, south-bay-birds and other social networks. We encourage you to tag your posts with #SCVASBirdathon, #Birdathon and #SCVAS to better help other members and friends share in the fun.
It’s easier than ever to sign up to participate in the Birdathon, and we are encouraging more single-person, two-person and single-household Birdathon Teams this year.
And please consider sponsoring one or more teams. We need your help more than ever. The Birdathon is the Santa Clara Valley Audubon Society’s biggest (and most fun!) fundraiser of the year. Last year we raised over 40 thousand dollars, providing budget for our many education and conservation projects and supporting all of the great work that we do, including The Avocet quarterly, Field Trips, the Nature Shop, our Speaker Series and much more.
