The Breeding Bird Atlas of Santa Clara County, California seeks to document all of the breeding birds in our county. The volume covers fieldwork done in Santa Clara County from 1987 to 1993, augmented with additional field observations reported from 1994 to 2005 and covers 177 species known to breed here.
The comprehensive atlas was compiled and written by William G. Bousman with contributions from over fifteen prominent birders. It includes an illustration, in-depth description, and detailed breeding map for each breeding bird species. With over 550 pages, published by SCVAS in 2007. Soft bound book, 8x11 inches, and over 1-1/2 inches thick.
