Vasona County Park is a Los Gatos treasure and a block from the store. This lake open space has wonderful species from songbirds & raptors to waterfowl & migrants. All birding levels welcome. We'll look for as many species as possible, while having a great time.

Trip Difficulty: 3 miles, paved trails, gravel trails, packed dirt trails, lawns (potentially wet), some hills (less than 300 ft elevation gain), some shade

Meet Location: Once you are in the park and past the park entry kiosk continue to the LGS Recreation Boat Center parking lot.
Latitude/Longitude: 37.241319, -121.970961

Directions: From CA-85 in Los Gatos, exit Winchester Blvd. Continue south for about 1.5 miles (Winchester Blvd becomes North Santa Cruz Ave) then turn left onto Blossom Hill Rd. The park entrance will be on your left in less than 0.5 miles.

Facilities: ADA accessible bathroom, drinking water, cell phone service

Parking: Parking fee is $6
