PUBLIC 4 HOUR TRADITIONAL
Duck, duck, goose! Come out and bird with your friendly Field Trip Committee volunteers, aka “The Quack Pack"! This is the group of people who organize SCVBA’s field trips. We’ll bird for three hours around Almaden Lake Park, covering about 1.5 miles at a leisurely pace. We’ll check out the happenings on the egret/heron rookery, enjoy the nesting swallows, and of course, check out the ducks and geese! Pack your lunch! After birding, we’ll grab some tables and eat together afterwards. This is a fun and casual bird-spotting event. We welcome all birders, beginning and experienced, to join our team of "wise-quackers.” Don’t duck out, sign up now, quack, quack!
