In early 2005 Brian joined the eBird team at the Cornell Lab. More recently his role has included working with Information Science and Technology's Digital Publications group at the Lab on projects such as the Birds of North America, Neotropical Birds, as well as with the Macaulay Library team on various multimedia projects. He enjoys hawkwatching and seawatching when he gets the chance, but loves any opportunity to get in the field to look at, photograph, and record birds. He has written and consulted on various books and articles on North American birds.
