Ever wondered what a big day was? Now you can find out as you join the Young Birders in a "Mini Big day" where we will be trying to see as many species of bird as possible in a 4 hour time span. We will be visiting the Santa Clara Valley Water District, then proceeding to Almaden Lake County Park, Las Capitancillos Ponds, and finally the Guadalupe Oak Grove. Along the way we will be looking for ducks, sparrows herons, and everything in-between as we explore these different habitats.

Directions: From CA-85, take Almaden Expy south. At Via Monte Dr (first light after crossing Blossom Hill), make a u-turn then make the next right and turn into the headquarters parking lot.
