Fall Migration at Ulistac Natural Area

We'll look for migrating warblers, vireos, flycatchers and other songbirds! This urban open space with oak and riparian woodlands and seasonal wetlands contains the last 40 acres of natural, undeveloped land along the Guadalupe River in the city of Santa Clara. We may also walk north/south along the Guadalupe River levee.

Difficulty: 2-3 miles; paved, flat trails with limited elevation gain

Beginner Friendly, Family Friendly Ages 10 and up, Intermediate Level Birding

Meet: We'll meet at the south entrance on Lick Mill Boulevard.

Directions: From CA-237 exit Great America Pkwy south, drive 0.8 miles, then turn left on Tasman Dr. In 1 mile turn right on Lick Mill Blvd and travel about 0.5 miles to the park which will be on your left. Street parking. Latitude/Longitude: 37.403418, -121.953984
