This workshop will be held as part of the Santa Clara Valley Bird Alliance Wildlife Fair, part of our month-long Centennial Celebration.

Learn to capture the unique personalities of birds through quick sketches in pen and ink and watercolor. This fun workshop will teach you basic techniques for creating expressive drawings perfect for your nature journal or for notecards.

Here's a suggested supply list for the workshop:

1. Pencil

2. Eraser

3. Fine tip waterproof pen:

  Sharpie or Precise are available anywhere -or- there are a number of brands available online

4. Watercolor Supplies:

  Bring whatever you have or purchase a small travel set - Cotman and Winsor Newton are good brands.

5. Sketchbook with multimedia or watercolor paper - any size
