Least Sandpiper by John Tsortos
Shoreline Lake: Changing Seasons (Mountain View)
The Shoreline Lake area in Mountain View offers excellent species diversity with relatively flat, walkable trails. We will look for a variety of species (sandpipers, ducks, wading birds, terns, etc.), but we will also pay extra attention to any nearby gulls. This is a great opportunity to appreciate our wintering birds just before they leave, notice changes in plumage for the breeding season, and welcome early spring migrants!
