Field Trip: Calero Creek Trail Fall Birding (south San Jose)

Welcome back returning fall sparrows and look for year-round birds in a riparian and sage hillside habitat.  The Calero Creek trail out and back (there is no loop).

Trip Difficulty: 2.5 miles, packed-dirt trails, muddy or possibly muddy after rain, some shade, poison oak alongside trail (wear long pants)

Meet: Calero Creek Trail entrance at Harry Road 

Directions: From CA-85 in San Jose, exit Almaden Expy south. Drive south for about 5 miles, turn left onto Harry Road. Drive 0.4 miles. The trail entrance will be on your right just past the creek. GPS: 37.207263, -121.823664

Facilities: No toilets
