Photowalk: Valley Water Headquarters (SCVWD) (San Jose)

Bring your cameras and let's have some fun photographing the variety of birds at the loop trail and ponds behind Santa Clara Valley Water headquarters. We recommend bringing your longest lens possible but all cameras and experience levels are welcome! We can discuss photography settings and help each other learn how to improve our bird photos.e

Trip Difficulty: 1.5 miles, paved trails, gravel trails, little or no elevation gain

Meet: Parking lot in front of main building

Directions: From CA-85, take Almaden Expy south. At Via Monte Dr (first light after crossing Blossom Hill), make a u-turn then make the next right and turn into the headquarters parking lot. Park in visitor parking in front of the building or in any other unmarked spot. GPS: 37.248321,-121.874378

Facilities: Cell phone service; Might be able to access restrooms in main building on week days, otherwise no restrooms
