This park is located in the eastern foothills at the base of Mt. Hamilton. We will start the morning birding Grant Lake to check for raptors and wintering waterfowl such as Green-winged Teals and Ring-necked Ducks. Next, we will continue on to the historic ranch house gardens and surrounding oak-woodland community looking for Red-breasted Sapsuckers, Ruby-crowned Kinglets, Purple Finches and more. 2-3 miles, mostly flat.
