Field Trip: Sunnyvale Water Pollution Control Plant

Explore weedy-edged, tule-lined brackish canals and a salt pond for egrets, herons, grebes, ducks, and terns. Good trip for beginners. Call ahead for loaner binoculars. 1 mile, flat trail. 

Meet: Bay Trail parking on Carl Rd.

Family friendly, ages 10+

Directions: From Caribbean Dr, take Borregas Ave north. Drive a short distance then turn left onto Carl Rd. Park in the Bay Trail parking area. Porta-potty available, no drinking water. Additional parking available on Borregas Ave.
