Visit this tidal estuary where terns, willets, marbled godwits, avocets, stilts, and other shorebirds dip, dive, dine and hobnob with one another. We will be hanging out on the observation deck overlooking the water, identifying and discussing the birds behaviors and adaptations. Good experience for beginner birders. Bring binoculars if you have them. There will be some available if you do not have them. Other items to bring: camera, water, sunhat, friends.
Docent Raminder Bajwa is a wildlife/bird photographer. He welcomes people to bring their cameras and photography questions to the drop-in.
