Field Trip: Coyote Creek Nature Trail (Morgan Hill)

We’ll start at the Coyote Creek Visitor Center in Morgan Hill and follow the shaded creek to look and listen carefully for spring birds. Then we’ll check the open orchards for soaring raptors. We’ll scan the creeks for ducks and egrets. This trip is one mile long, has no elevation gain, and takes about two hours. It’s perfect for beginners, new birders, and anyone who wants to observe nature.
Trip Difficulty: 2 miles, paved trails, gravel trails, packed-dirt trails, lawns (potentially wet), muddy or possibly muddy after rain, rocky trails, little or no elevation gain, some shade
