Cuesta Park for Beginners
On this easy walk through Mountain View's Cuesta Park, we will identify some of the birds that are often seen in our city parks and neighborhoods, including songbirds, hawks, woodpeckers, and hummingbirds. If we're lucky, we may catch sight of Great Horned Owls and Pygmy Nuthatches. This walk is geared towards beginning birders, but all are welcome.
Trip Difficulty: approximately one mile, paved flat trails
Other Trip Notes: Please bring binoculars. Rain will cancel. Although park paths are paved, waterproof footwear is recommended for when we need to step off the path onto wet grass.
