Emily Renzel Ponds (Palo Alto)

Join us for a hike around the two Emily Renzel Ponds in Palo Alto Baylands. We will focus on water birds, including Cinnamon Teals, Common Gallinules, and Egrets, but we may also see a few raptors.

Trip Difficulty: 1.5 miles, gravel trails, little or no elevation gain

Other Trip Notes: Bring rain gear just in case; Wear layers; And bring water

Directions: Parking for Emily Renzel Ponds is on the east side of E. Bayshore Road, so the easiest way to go is to get onto E. Bayshore Road at the San Antonio Road intersection with US 101, and then drive north about 1.3 miles to the meeting spot. Latitude/Longitude: 37.441836,-122.114991
