Field Trip: Máyyan 'Ooyákma/Coyote Ridge OSP (Morgan Hill)

Many bird species winter on Coyote Ridge, many of them in large flocks. We'll look for Western Meadowlarks, Horned Larks, American Pipits, Savannah Sparrows, and many other birds, including hawks, eagles, and falcons.

Trip Difficulty: 2-4, gravel trails, packed-dirt trails, hilly (elevation gain over 300 ft)

Meet: preserve parking lot

Directions: From US-101, exit Bailey Ave and head east towards the foothills. Bailey Ave turns into Malech Rd. Continue on Malech Rd for 0.3 miles. The park will be on your right. Latitude/Longitude: 37.213318, -121.720935
