Máyyan 'Ooyákma/Coyote Ridge OSP (Morgan Hill)

Joint event with OSA

Recently opened to the public, Máyyan 'Ooyákma (Chochenyo for Coyote Ridge) preserves the last extensive, pristine serpentine grassland in the Bay Area. We'll bird at the top of the ridge for winter residents, including Golden Eagles, Prairie Falcons, and large flocks of Western Meadowlarks, Horned Larks, and American Pipits, as well as wintering sparrows.

Trip Difficulty: 3 miles, packed-dirt trails, hilly (elevation gain over 300 ft)
