Spotted Towhee by Sarah Chan
Field Trip: Picchetti Ranch (Cupertino)
Join us for a hike down the trails of Picchetti Ranch where we’ll walk through dirt trails with modest elevation gain looking and listening for local birds including Wrentit, Spotted Towhees, and Hermit Thrushes.
Trip Difficulty: 1 mile, gravel trails, uneven or rutted trails, some hills (less than 300 ft elevation gain), some shade

Meet: Picchetti Ranch Parking Lot
Directions: From I-280 in Cupertino take Foothill Blvd south 3.3 miles (becomes Stevens Canyon Rd). Turn right on Montebello Rd, go about a mile, and then turn left after the winery entrance into the preserve parking lot. Latitude/Longitude: 37.294602, -122.091328
