Field Trip: After Dark at Coyote Valley Open Space Preserve

Join us as we look and listen for Great Horned, Western Screech, and other owls in the preserve after hours. Sneak a peek at these denizens of the night while learning about their behavior and many adaptations to life after dark. Please bring a flashlight and dress warm.

Trip Difficulty: 1-2 miles on moderately hilly, well-maintained trails

Directions: From US-101, exit Bailey Ave. Travel west for about 0.7 miles then turn left onto Santa Teresa Blvd. Continue for about 2 miles then turn right onto Palm Ave. Preserve is at the end of the road.

Facilities: ADA accessible restroom, no water
